2. General information

This website only processes personal data to the extent necessary for its operation and for answering your enquiries. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally. I do not use any analytics or tracking tools, do not embed third-party content such as videos or maps, and do not pass on your data for advertising purposes.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on a server of Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus, in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. When you visit the website, the server processes the technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, in order to deliver the pages to you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. Hostinger uses subprocessors, including some outside the EU. The EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply to such transfers.

4. Access logs

The server of this website does not keep any access logs. Your IP address and the other details sent by your browser are only processed for as long as is technically necessary to deliver the page and are not stored afterwards.

5. Contact form and email enquiries

If you write to me using the contact form, I process your name, your email address and your message as well as, if provided, your business and your phone number in order to answer your enquiry. The details are transmitted in encrypted form to an automation platform (n8n) that I operate myself on the same server as the website (see Hosting). For technical reasons, your IP address is also transmitted. From there, the enquiry is forwarded to my mailbox via the email service of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR is also in place with IONOS. n8n does not store enquiries that are forwarded successfully. If forwarding fails, the process is stored for troubleshooting for no longer than 14 days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise your consent given via the checkbox in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you email me directly, the processing is based on my legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I keep your enquiry and my reply for as long as necessary to deal with it and delete them afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are stored on the same server as the website itself. No connection to third-party servers such as Google is established when you visit it.

7. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not store any data in your browser. The language shown depends solely on the address you open.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on a legitimate interest, you may object to it on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany. You can also contact the supervisory authority where you live or work.
